Mr. Delgado is currently the Chief Executive Officer for the Los Angeles County + University of Southern California (LAC + USC) Healthcare Network. He is responsible for the directing the leadership and operations of all health service programs for LAC+USC Healthcare Network including the Medical center, the tertiary care hub of the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services and the primary teaching facility of the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California.

A seasoned healthcare administrator, Mr. Delgado has served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the Christus Santa Rosa Hospital System in San Antonio, Texas. In this capacity, Mr. Delgado oversaw the implementation of numerous cost – savings programs and a 15% increase in inpatient volume and 5% increase in market share within two years. Previously, Mr. Delgado led the Columbia Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas as the Chief Executive Officer for a 173 licensed bed, Level III full service hospital. Under his leadership, the hospital established the city’s first quality Heart Program and constructed a replacement hospital.

Mr. Delgado also has experience working within the California healthcare environment. As Chief Executive Officer, Kaiser Health Plan and Hospitals in North Bay Area, Mr. Delgado collaborated with two general acute hospitals, 250 physicians in four clinics to maintain the largest market share of HMO members in their market with the second best patient satisfaction ratings in their Kaiser program.

As the titular head of Delgado & Associates Independent Healthcare Consultants, Mr. Delgado partnered with Galaxy H/C Provider Network and a health insurance provider to develop affordable healthcare products for community healthcare providers and small employers. Mr. Delgado remains committed to extending quality care to the medically underserved in his community.

Mr. Delgado received his Master of Science in Hospital Administration from Texas Women’s University, Houston, Texas and his Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from University of Houston / CLC. Houston, Texas. He has also participated in two senior executive programs at Stanford University and Harvard University respectively.
