Jeff is President of Beebe Medical Center, an organization that includes a 148-bed hospital, an 89-bed skilled nursing facility, a diploma granting hospital-based school of nursing, and multiple ambulatory care satellites, serving the Delaware shore communities. Beebe Medical Center has received recognition as a "Best of the Best" Press, Ganey hospital for its patient satisfaction performance, and was named the top hospital in Delaware by healthgrades.com for joint replacement surgery.

Mr. Fried joined Beebe Medical Center in 1995 as President/CEO. Prior to that Jeff held various positions from 1983-1994 with Lancaster General Hospital, ultimately serving as Chief Operating Officer. Outside the hospital Jeff has served as President, Lewes Chamber of Commerce, is a Director of Delaware National Bank, and is a member of the AHA's Regional Policy Board. Mr. Fried has also served as Chairman, Delaware Hospital Association, and is a former member of Young President's Organization (YPO). Mr. Fried has taught in the graduate programs as an adjunct faculty member for Wilmington College, Penn State University, and Lebanon Valley College.

Jeff is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas, and his Master's Degree in Hospital Administration from Washington University in St. Louis.

Jeff resides in Rehoboth Beach, DE with his wife Roz and their daughter Samantha. Jeff is a native of Kansas, and is a die-hard KU Jayhawk basketball fan.
